The Most Expensive Tennis Shoes Ever Made

Auto-Lacing Nike Mag

Only Nike could have made these shoes based on one of the most popular movies of the 1980s. The Auto-Lacing Nike Mag was inspired by the film Back to the Future 2 and its time travel story. The company somehow managed to replicate the movie shoes’ self-tying feature and shoe lovers could now slip them on and marvel at their shoes tying themselves. Eighty-four of the 89 pairs were raffled off via $10 tickets that benefited Parkinson’s Disease research, and today a pair can be found for $25,000.
